The BRC Welcomes 2 New Postdocs!

Starting in the new year, we are delighted to welcome two new postdoctoral fellows to the Biosocial Research Collaborative: Greta Cheng and Jillian Baker.

Both Greta and Jillian are recent PhDs in epidemiology and bring complementary expertise that aligns closely with the BRC’s mission to advance biosocial research on health, aging, and inequality.

Greta Cheng joins the BRC from the University of Pittsburgh, where her work focused on neighborhoods, health, and aging. She brings deep expertise in understanding how neighborhood contexts shape health trajectories across the life course and will contribute to the Collaborative’s ongoing research at the intersection of place, biology, and population health.

Jillian Baker joins us from the University of Michigan School of Public Health. She has spent several years working with the Study of Women’s Health Across the Nation (SWAN) and brings a strong passion for understanding how trauma and intimate partner violence influence health outcomes across the life course.

We are thrilled to welcome Greta and Jillian to the BRC and look forward to the insights, collaborations, and energy they will bring to our community.
